We did Disney
At Disneyland, this was the ONLY character wearing a skirt that Jack would get near. Princess cooties everywhere. Billions of trip photos here.
We headed out to TG Farms in Newcastle today to pick out some pumpkins. They had a cornfield maze and Jack was overjoyed. It was a perfect day! Photos.

The (long, hot) season is just about over and they took team pictures last week. Tee ball was a good experience - no pressure, great coach, everyone had a good time, and I would say Jack learned a lot. Plus, he got to play with his best buddy B., so life was good.
Cora got to spend hours filling her pockets with dirt and gravel while we watched, so she was happy.
Yup, just a couple more weeks until school starts and he’ll be a bona fide first-grader. Time to buy a lunchbox!
Finally made it in to get some “real” pictures made… Click the link to see a couple of other shots from our trip to the “Professional Portrait Studio.”
I’m now posting all of our photos on Flickr. Check us out.
Only time will tell! Jack has spent a lot of time drawing lately, and then all our tape disappeared. That’s OK - check out his room! I posted some of his drawings on flickr.

Jack turned six on June 2. If this photo looks staged, that’s because it totally is. Didn’t quite get the shot of him blowing out the candles.
He had a wonderful birthday weekend, with visits from family and a water party with his friends. It was pirate themed. It was so chaotic I forgot to take any pictures other than him blowing out the candles on his cake.
In the car today…
Cora: “Can we listen to the ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ song again?”
Jack: “NO! It’s time for ‘The Sound of Failure’!”

Our little dude graduated from kindergarten. We felt very lucky this year - Jack had an awesome teacher, made a great new friend, learned a lot and had a very good experience overall. I admit I sobbed a little when I picked him up on his last day. Here he is during the graduation ceremony. His line in the presentation was, “R is for remembering all that we’ve learned.” Or something like that.
Congratulations, little buddy. We sure love you.
